A MESSAGE OF
CONSERVATION
The illuminated paintings show the beauty and fragility of endangered species and help build awareness around the importance of protecting biodiversity. Over 90 detailed works of endangered insects, birds, reptiles, aquatic creatures and animals are represented in the project. Each painting is focused on a specific endangered animal to build empathy, awareness and education.

The artwork in the exhibition shows the beauty & fragility of many species in peril.

ARTIST BIO

Project creator and artist Russell Ronat is originally from South Africa. He is a Denver based contemporary artist and the creator of Project Holocene. It is his goal to draw and paint many endangered animals and show the beauty and fragility of many species in his drawings, illuminated paintings and video work.
